We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The RT will be responsible for airway management, mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, emergency respiratory support, and collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous airway management and respiratory support.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation systems.
• Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Assist with CPR, emergency airway management, and resuscitation.
• Perform respiratory assessments and treatments.
• Monitor patient response to respiratory therapies and ventilator support.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff regarding respiratory care plans.
• Provide respiratory support during patient transport.
• Complete accurate computerized documentation.
• Perform all aspects of respiratory care within the applicable scope of practice.

Equipment:

• PB 980 Ventilators
• PB 840 Ventilators
• V60 NIV/BiPAP
• Para Pac Transport Ventilator
• Computerized charting
• Pyxis medication management

Required Qualifications:

• Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License before assignment start.
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Previous contract/travel assignment experience required.
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required before contract start.

Preferred Qualifications:

• RRT certification
• NRP certification
• Experience with PB 840/PB 980 ventilators and V60 NIV.
• Strong critical-care, airway management, and ventilator-management experience.
