Description
Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician
Shift: Evenings | 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
Schedule: Occasional weekends
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Contract Length: 13 weeks
The laboratory teams at Samaritan Health Services are responsible for testing specimens that may include:
- Blood
- Body fluids
- Tissue
Testing is performed to aid in the diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, and conditions requiring medical attention.
Laboratory testing is performed for:
- Hospital inpatients
- Emergency room patients
- Outpatient specimens
- Clinic specimens
Required Experience
The manager will only consider candidates with the following experience:
- Epic
- Antibody identification (Antibody IDs)
- Emergency blood banking
- Ortho Vitros 5600
Required Certification
- ASCP certification
- AMT certification
- Equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification
- Equivalent Medical Laboratory Technician certification
