Travel RN – PCU

Position Details

Position: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Department: PCU
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
Trauma Level: Level II
Charting: Epic
Contract: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours/Week
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Shift Time: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Holiday: Minimum 2 holidays during contract

Position Requirements

Active RN license required at submission
BLS required
ACLS required
NIHSS required
PCU/Progressive Care experience
Competent with arterial lines
Experience with titrating drips
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation experience
High-flow oxygen experience
Ability to care for PCU-acuity patients when floating to Med/Surg or ICU
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and adaptable with willingness to learn and accept feedback
