Description
The traveler will float among multiple Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units within their scope of practice.
This position is ideal for an adaptable RN who is comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patients across multiple MS/Tele environments and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- BLS and ACLS – AHA or ARC accepted
- NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- MS/Telemetry experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Telemetry experience
- Previous Charge RN experience: 2 years preferred/required per facility profile
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Travel experience: not required
- Prior LTAC experience: not required
Patient & Staffing Details
- Patient ratio: 1:5 on days, nights, and weekends
- Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
- Float: Required among applicable MS/Tele units within scope
- Call: None
- Weekend coverage: Required
- Interdisciplinary support: PT, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Phlebotomy, Transportation, Interpretation Services, Unit Secretary, and Rapid Response Team
