Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

You’ll provide high-acuity pediatric critical care across PICU/CVICU settings and should be comfortable caring for complex surgical, trauma, and cardiac patients.

✅ Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• MN RN license or MN Temporary RN Permit
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• At least 2 years of specialty inpatient experience preferred/required per client guidance
• At least 18 months of PICU experience, including the ability to care for:
  • Pre-operative PICU surgical patients
  • Immediate post-operative PICU surgical patients
  • Trauma patients
• OR 18 months of pediatric CVICU experience with competency caring for:
  • Pre-operative cardiac surgical patients
  • Immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients
  • Pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients
• Travel experience preferred, but not required
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

📋 Important Contract Details

• Straight days, straight nights, or rotating shifts available
• No call
• RNs must work a minimum of 7 weekends during the 12–13 week assignment
• Maximum 3 days of RTO may be requested at submission
• No new RTO requests after submission
• Interview availability, including time zone, must be provided with submission
• MN license does not have to be in hand at submission, but a temporary or permanent MN license must be obtained before the start date

• Travel partners welcome; however, partners may be scheduled on different shifts based on staffing needs
