Acute Care (Med Surg) Float to ER Charge Experience highly preferred.
Notes for the position.
Acute Care float to ER.
36hrs/wk 6p-6:30a Every 3rd weekend float: ER.
Critical Access.
BLS, ACLS, TNCC; PALS required.
Scrubs- Any color/Any design.
Must be able to read and interpret strips.
MUST have trauma experience and have worked CAH ED.
MUST be to multi-task, be flexible, have a positive attitude and be able to hold their own.
MUST have good rapport with providers and strong communication skills (providers are easy to get along with).
Valley County Hospital is a small facility that prefers employees to be able to wear multiple hats.
The RN in this position will be expected to float from the Acute Care to ER.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.
Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
