Description
Position: Certified Athletic Trainer
Job Details
- Location: Geneva, NY
- Facility: Geneva General Hospital
- Schedule: 13- 17 weeks- Days
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Schdule: 5 x 8 (40hrs)
- Typical Schedule: Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training coverage for varsity and non-varsity practices and games
- Evaluate and manage athletic injuries and assist with return-to-play planning
- Provide protective taping, wrapping, bracing, conditioning, and reconditioning
- Assist physicians and physical therapists with patient care and clinical activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field
- Valid New York State Registration and License as a Certified Athletic Trainer
- NATABOC/BOC Certification
- BLS Certification
