Job Description:
Position: RN – Emergency Department
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM | Evening Shift
Contract: 13 weeks
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
- Every other weekend commitment required
- Holiday coverage required
- Emergency Department experience preferred/expected
- Must have an active RN license and required facility credentials
Schedule: 12.5-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM–3:30 AM
Provides care to patients with acute injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
- Performs rapid assessment and triage based on patient condition.
- Provides immediate interventions to stabilize patients.
- Administers medications and IV therapy.
- Performs/assists with intubation and airway management.
- Draws blood and collects specimens.
- Starts and manages IV lines.
- Monitors patients closely and responds quickly to changes in condition.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment where rapid decision-making is essential.
✅ Active RN state license - ✅ BLS
- ✅ 2+ years acute-care experience
- ✅ Adult/general Emergency Department experience
- ✅ ER skills checklist completed
