POSITION: MICU RN – DAY/NIGHT ROTATION

• Shift: 3x12s – Days 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / Nights 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Rotation: 4 weeks Days / 4 weeks Nights
• Hours: 36 hrs/week
• Unit: Medical ICU
• Experience: 2+ years MICU experience
• Patient Ratio: 1:1–2
• Patient Population: Adults
• Required: Epic experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – AHA
• Required Skills: Ventilator management, IV starts, telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, continuous IV sedation, multisystem organ failure
• Clinical Experience: Respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure & renal failure
• Equipment: NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors & ventilators
• Floating: May float to other OSU units as needed
• Travel Experience: Not required
• COVID Vaccine: Not required
• Flu Vaccine: Required; medical exemptions only
• RTO: Must be submitted with application and included in contract
• References: 2 professional references; 1 must be manager/director/supervisor
• License: Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at submission
• Education: ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Fingerprinting: Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after signing contract
• Locals: Accepted at same rate
• Compliance: Strict deadline Tuesday before start date; no exceptions
