Description

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Freestanding ED) | Houston, TX | Mid Shift | 13 Weeks

HealthTrust is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at HCA ER 24/7 – North Channel (Freestanding Emergency Department) in Houston, Texas.

Shift: 3x12 Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Position Details

Provide emergency nursing care in a 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED).
Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide variety of emergency conditions.
Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation monitoring, and splinting.
Monitor patients using bedside cardiac monitoring and other emergency equipment, including Hamilton ventilators and defibrillators.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care.
Document patient care using Meditech (transitioning to Meditech Expanse).
Float to Fairmont FSED if required.
