Description
An acute care hospital in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a 13-week local contract assignment.
The CRNA will provide anesthesia services in a medically directed practice environment. Coverage is primarily hospital-based, with credentialing planned for both the hospital and an affiliated ambulatory surgery center.
Assignment Highlights

Practice Environment
• CRNAs are medically directed by anesthesiologists
• Primary coverage will be at the hospital
• Clinicians will be credentialed for both the hospital and ambulatory surgery center
• Anesthesia technicians are available for clinical support
Candidate Requirements
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required at the time of presentation
• Licensing candidates will not be considered
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to provide anesthesia care to pediatric and adult patients
• Ability to complete all credentialing and compliance requirements before the assignment begins
Credentialing
The anticipated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days. Full compliance must be completed at least two weeks before the scheduled start date.
Health and compliance requirements include applicable vaccinations, a physical examination, and fit testing.
Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday assignment with no call. Daytime schedules may include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts based on facility needs.
