Description

Role: OR Tech / Surgical Technologist

Trauma Level: Level 1

Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Friday Saturday and Sunday

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours/week

Contract: 91 days / 13 weeks

Setting: Acute care

Requirements

CST — NBSTSA
BLS — AHA
CO DORA license
License: Must have license to submit
BSN: Not required
Must-have experience: Robotics and trauma
Experience with:
- Ortho/trauma & joints
- Robotics
- Neuro/spine
- Plastics
- ENT
- Urology
- Level 1 trauma

Scheduling & Call

12-hour shifts: 7a–7p, 9a–9p
Some 10-hour shifts: 7a–5p
Mostly self-scheduling
Generally no block scheduling
Weeknight call: 3–4 shifts per 6 weeks
Weekend call: No, unless the department needs help
Holiday call: Yes
Call response time: 2 hours
