Requirements
- At least 2 years of ED experience
- Experience at a Level III trauma center or higher
- Recent Epic experience is mandatory
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Pass a traveler telemetry competency exam before starting
Day ratio: Typically 1:4, with the ability to flex to 1:5 based on acuity and staffing.
Floating: None.
Schedule
- Days/mids: 7:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. starts
- Mids/nights: 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. starts
- Ask about interest in a 48-hour contract
- Weekends vary with unit needs; no on-call
- Expected to work two of five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
