8H Days M-F
Able to work independently; other therapists and aide generally in the department; would be independent PT in specific schools with support staff hired by school districtMonday through Friday, 40 hours/week, specific hours to be determined but basically 8 or 8:30 to 5 or 5:30 M-Th and 8 or 8:30 to 3:30 on FNo On Call or weekends or holidays6.Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments)No - just split between school-based and hospital-based outpatient for pediatric patients; possibly an occasional acute care pediatric patient
Position Requirements3+ years experience (preferred)BS in PTND PT License
BLS (AHA)
Current Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
Pediatric PT evaluations and treatments in both the school-based and hospital-based outpatient environments;Developmental assessments; Orthopedic assessments; Gait evaluations; Orthotic and equipment needs;Accurate and timely record keeping/documentation; patient/parent/caregiver/support staff training;IEPs/504 plans/3 year evaluations; Goal setting, both long and short term goals;Familiar with Peabody, Bruininks-Oseretsky, GMFM, School Function Assessment;Travel around Bismarck area between schools and hospital2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)Epic/One Chart electronic medical record;Variety of pediatric therapy equipment and supplies (toys, standers, walkers/gait trainers, crutches/canes, wheelchairs, balance items, weights, treadmill, bikes/trikes/scooter boards, Pavlik harness3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.Skills and experience to provide PT for children in both educational environment and hospital-based outpatient setting;Able to work independently in either setting;Able to work with school-based case managers and support staffPrefer at least 3 years pediatric PT experience but will consider less;Have own vehicle for travel around Bismarck area between schools;4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)Minimum of BS in PT;ND PT license;CPR certification from AHA for healtcare workers
