RN | Long-Term Care
 

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care
Location: Centerville, IA
Contract: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension
Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assess residents’ conditions, monitor changes, and report concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall resident status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education regarding care, medications, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Respond appropriately to changes in residents’ conditions and emergencies.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Iowa.
• Previous long-term care/SNF experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide safe care during the overnight shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be available for 10:00 PM–6:30 AM shifts.
• 13-week commitment required, with possibility of extension.
