Title: RN Ambulatory Outpatient
Location: Milwaukee Wisconsin 53233
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8hr Day Shift (40)
Shift Information: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Clinical Interviewing- Yes, Manager to review any offers
On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend Rotation: None
Holiday Requirements: None
Floating Requirements: RN will be required to travel between the following clinic locations: RiverCenter, Aurora Sinai Medical Center, St. Luke's Medical Center
About Facility:
- Outpatient clinic that is located inside of Aurora Sinai Hospital on the 5 th floor.
General Information:
- Rooms: 22
- Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience: Yes, would prefer more. This can be in LTC, LTAC, Rehab, Acute, or Clinic setting.
- Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
- 2 sub-specialties in the clinic: GI and nephrology. Traveler could help with nephrology patients but do not often assist with GI
Patient Types:
- Adults only
- Internal Medicine – diabetes, HTN, kidney failure (with and without dialysis), mental health, chronic disease conditions
Patients seen in the clinic in a day: 80-100 patients
Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS
Skills required:
- May assist with rooming patients but primarily will assist with in-basket management, telephone triage, medication refills, will assist with HTN clinic, blood draws
- IV skills preferred as there are a few iron infusions and NS fluid replacement
Support on the Unit:
- MAs
- RNs
- LPNs
- Patient Service Representatives at front desk
- RN Lead
- Management there during the day
- Teaching/Residency Clinic
- 2 NPs
- Lab on site
Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: Ambulatory EPIC - preferred
- IV pumps: Alaris
- Medication dispensing: Pyxis
Floating: If yes, where:
- RN will be required to travel between the following clinic locations:
- RiverCenter
- Aurora Sinai Medical Center
- St. Luke's Medical Center
Orientation: 1-2 weeks
Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: No
- On call: No
- Holiday Expectations: No
- Approval of RTO: to go through manager
- Shift times: 0830 – 1700. Will work late one Tuesday per month until 1800.
- Schedule cycle: Monday - Friday

- Scrub Color: Any solid color, no camo
