· Number of Beds - 24

· Number of Staff –

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs, OT/PT/ST, Case manager

o Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs

· Patient Ratios – 1:6

· Type of equipment - Hill-Rom beds

· EMR - Expanse

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· One year inpatient or rehab experience

· BLS

· Completion of cardiac arrhythmia review test

Preferred or nice to have candidates with these skills, will be considered first.

· ACLS

· Medical/Telemetry experience or higher acuity

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· PT/OT/ST for a total of 3 hours a day

· Patients can receive dialysis, have blood administered, IVP medications, and remote telemetry monitoring. No bedside surgical procedures.

· Collaborate well with the therapy departments

· Allow the patients to be as independent as possible while continuing a safe environment

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· RN

· BLS

Floating Area(s):

· Med/Surg or Med/Surg tele

Dress Code:

· Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

· We still follow all guidelines as the inpatient side such as Fall precautions, HAIs, Isolation, and Care Experience

· I can supply the Time and Attendance policy during orientation

Weekends and on call (if any)

· Every other weekend and no on call
