Travel Registered Nurse – Critical Care (ICU) | Nights | Wisconsin

Join a respected healthcare facility in Wisconsin as a Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for a 13-week assignment. This opportunity is ideal for experienced critical care nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and are comfortable managing complex patient care.

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (12-hour Nights)

Position Details

As a Critical Care RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, life-support interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions while ensuring safe, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and provide nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced life support.
• Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other critical care therapies.
• Manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and other critical care equipment.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.

• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
