Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience required
• PICC experience and/or bedside procedural experience required
• EPIC experience is REQUIRED
• ACLS
• BLS
• Travel experience required
• RN must have a valid compact or Ohio state license in hand at submission
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program

Schedule

• 5×8-hour day shifts
• 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Monday–Friday
• No call
• No weekend shifts

• Floating is required

Floating

The RN will be required to float to bedside procedures as needed.

• Scrub procedures
• Special procedures
• Chest tube placement
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Reversal agents
• Emergency medications
• Dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Infection prevention
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Required:

• BLS
• ACLS
• EPIC experience is REQUIRED.
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
• Flu vaccine: Required
• Medical exemptions only are accepted.

RTO / Time Off

• RTO is required at submission
• RTO must be incorporated into the contract.
• Candidates should be screened for vacation immediately after booking because credentialing/fingerprinting delays may cause the start date to be pushed.

License Requirements

RN

• Valid compact or Ohio state RN license must be in hand at submission.

Education

• Nursing education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.

WB Parking Details

Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from the OSU Wexner Medical Center.

• Pink Shuttle runs approximately every 3–5 minutes during peak times.
• Shuttle travel time to the medical center is approximately 8–9 minutes.
• Weekend garage access: Friday 2:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM.
• Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.

Parking Refunds

• Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits.
• Current and prior months are not refundable.
• Cancel by 6:30 PM on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge.
• Refund checks may take 3–5 weeks.
