• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Contract Weeks: 13 weeks
• State License: Massachusetts
• Call: 3 shifts per month

• Weekend: Part of shift / holiday coverage if required

   

Experience Requirements

• 2 years X-Ray Technologist
• Position: X-Ray Technologist
• Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Contract Weeks: 13 weeks
• State License: Massachusetts
• Call: 3 shifts per month
• Weekend: Part of shift / holiday coverage if required
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
• Holiday & OT Mul2 year's experience required
• 1-year current experience required

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS – AHA or American Red Cross
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
  • License in hand or proof of application required at posting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
• Apply appropriate radiologic skills to facilitate diagnosis.
• May receive independent responsibilities from the Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
• Provide proper patient care according to departmental and hospital policies.
• May supervise or instruct department personnel when assigned.
• Follow infection control, body substance isolation, and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Operate PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot:
  • CR
  • DR
  • PACS applications
• Complete annual mandatory education, including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
