Required Criteria

1. Education
   • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience/training.
   • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
2. ARRT Certification
   • Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography — R(R).
3. State License
   • Current state radiologic technology license.
4. Radiography Experience
   • Minimum 5 years of experience in radiologic technology.
   • Minimum 2 years of full-time clinical radiography experience after initial ARRT certification.
5. Education/Teaching Experience
   • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an educational setting.
6. BLS/CPR
   • Current BLS or CPR certification for healthcare providers.
7. Clinical Education & JRCERT Knowledge
   • Working knowledge of JRCERT Standards related to:
     • Clinical education
     • Clinical site recognition
     • Preceptor qualifications
     • Student supervision
     • Equipment/student ratios
     • Competency requirements
   • Strong knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Clinical/Leadership Skills
   • Clinical practice experience in radiologic technology.
   • Leadership skills related to supervision and administration.
   • Conflict resolution and student/staff counseling skills.
   • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
   • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
   • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • Strong verbal and written communication.
9. Administrative/Technical Skills
   • Experience with documentation and record keeping.
   • Proficiency with clinical/institutional tracking software.
   • Ability to manage clinical assignments, competency records, and student documentation.
   • Ability to improve radiology processes, protocols, databases, and technology.
10. Travel/Availability

• Flexible availability for occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and off-campus clinical site visits.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal transportation when traveling between clinical sites is required.

Preferred, but not mandatory: Master’s/PhD, prior Clinical Coordinator experience, JRCERT program experience, clinical competency assessment experience, affiliation agreement experience, LMS/electronic clinical tracking experience, additional ARRT credentials such as CT, ARDMS credentials, and ASRT membership.
