Description
Travel RN | Pediatric ECMO Pump Specialist
Manage VA and VV ECMO for neonatal and pediatric patients with cardiac and non-cardiac conditions using the Cardiohelp system. When no patient requires ECMO pump coverage, work as a bedside RN in the cardiac ICU, PICU, or NICU based on unit needs.
Requirements: Two years of experience, Cardiohelp experience, and BLS and PALS. Candidates must be comfortable with ECMO management, ventilators, arterial and central lines, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. First-time travelers are accepted; Epic experience is preferred.
Assignment details: Bedside nurse ratio is listed as 1:2. Floating among the cardiac ICU, PICU, and NICU is required, with every third weekend required. The ECMO team also participates in drills and ongoing equipment education.
Eligibility: Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted. Former permanent employees are not eligible to return as travelers.
