Description

Required Certifications & Licensure

ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
OR
CCI – Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
BLS

Education
One of the following is required:
Associate degree; or
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program.

Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience per manager requirement.
Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE).
Inpatient and outpatient echocardiography.
Emergency echocardiography.
Cardiac hemodynamics.
PISA quantification.
Strain imaging.
Experience scanning cardiac abnormalities.
Ability to complete and report a full echo within 75 minutes.
Knowledge of cardiac pathophysiology, diagnostic procedures, and patient care procedures.
Ability to work effectively with physicians, coworkers, and all levels of healthcare professionals.
Quick learner and adaptable to different equipment and procedures.
