Description
RN-Labor and Delivery
Facility/Unit: Women & Infants Hospital (WIH) — Float Pool, floating between LDR (Labor & Delivery) and ACU (Antenatal Care Unit)
Shift: Nights, 32hrs/week, 8-hour shifts. Every weekend required. Flex position; shifts predominantly nights.
Weekly: Week 1: 36 hrs Week 2: 36 hrs Week 3: 24 hrs and then starting over.
Clinical Requirements:
- Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to RI)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- NRP certification
- Fetal monitoring certification (required for LDR)
- Minimum 1–2 years recent L&D/Antepartum/High-Risk OB experience
- Float pool/multi-unit adaptability preferred
EMR: EPIC required.
Vaccination Requirements:
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions.
- COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions.
