Travel OR RN – Core 6 | IU Health

IU Health is seeking a versatile OR RN for mid, night, and weekend coverage in a Level I trauma setting. Core 6 cases span neuro, orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, GYN, ENT, GU, trauma, and robotics. RNs must be current across several service lines and able to float within their scope, including to a nearby affiliate facility when needed. CV and transplant experience are not required.

Requirements: Three years of OR experience preferred, Level I trauma experience required, BLS, and strong circulating skills. Scrubbing is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Cerner experience is helpful but not required.

Scheduling: Approximately six call shifts per six-week period, though this can vary. Holiday coverage is required, including two of three major holidays. Block scheduling is unavailable; weekend shifts are associated with call.

Recruiter notes: Indiana residents are eligible for this surgical services role at the lower in-state bill rate.
