Job Description
Position / Specialty: PACU RN
Shift: 3x12s: 9-2130 and 11-2330
Ratios: Days 1:2, Nights 1:2
Years of experience REQ: 2 -Must have minimum of 2 year ICU experience or 3 years ED experience, Experience with High Acuity PACU patients required, PACU proficiency with ortho, spine, neuro, general, and oncology patients.
First-timers accepted: Y
Weekend REQ: Will work weekends as needed per department needs
Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
Is on-call REQ? N
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Y -Pre-op, PACU, Phase II, Helping Hands in hospital
Open to accommodating block schedule? N
Locals accepted: No - 100 mile radius
Pending License accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: 5 Days
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Special Requirements: experience with ventilators, post-op recovery of oncology, ortho, gyn, neuro, and general surgery patients. Ability to care for hemodynamically unstable patients in phase I recovery.
