Length: 13 weeks. Extension(s) common.
• Shift: Thursday-Saturday 7p-7:30a, On call negotiable, but not an obligation. Holiday and weekend coverage expected if falling on the contracted day.
• Certs: AHA BLS, ARRT(R)
• License: Active NY state license needed before start – ideally at submittal with the delays I’ve been seeing.
• Any must have experience/skill set: 3-5 years experience. Recent experience in an OR as it’s a big part of what their techs do. OR/C-Arm/O-Arm, Level 1 teaching/trauma center, Pediatric and Adult age group experience. Previous level 1 trauma, teaching facility, experience preferred.
• Common types of imaging/studies performed: Routine Adult and Pediatric ED, Trauma, C-Arm, portable imaging
• Do they start their own IV’s: No.
• Is there a Floating Requirement: No (flexibility in contract is honored).
• Equipment: Diagnostic Rooms: Philips, GE, Siemens
 Portable Units: GE Navigate and Philips 7000M Portable
 Operating Room: OEC C-Arm, 21cm, 31cm, 3D, O-Arm, Ziehm
• Charting System: EPIC=EMR; iSITE=PACS
• Radius: Must be greater than 50 miles from hospital.

Flu Season: with Flu season approaching just a reminder the state of NY is strict. Either need the flu vaccine or Medical Exemption request for approval. For Medical Exemption must complete hospital/State specific form which must be signed off by a NY Licenses physician and only allow a couple reasons to be able to meet the requirement.
