Shift: Days/ Nights - 3x12s or 4x12

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of recent Step-Down/PCU experience
Community Hospital experience required
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Previous Charge experience preferred

Patient Population

Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Post Heart Catheterization Patients
Post Vascular Procedures
Respiratory Failure (BiPAP/CPAP/Vapotherm)
Cardiac Dysrhythmias
Stroke/CVA Patients

Unit Details

Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
Daily Census: 9
9-Bed Unit
Medication System: Pyxis
EMR: Paragon (training provided)

Telemetry Test Requirement

Required during orientation
15-question assessment
Must score 80% or higher
Two attempts allowed
Failure after second attempt results in contract cancellation
