Interventional Special Procedures Technologist
Description
The Interventional Special Procedures Technologist works under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Department Manager to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care. The technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in accordance with department protocols and demonstrates the knowledge and technical expertise necessary to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.
The technologist is responsible for independently performing technical procedures that require sound judgment, initiative, and proper use of specialized imaging equipment. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, positioning patients, and assisting with procedures in both Interventional Radiology (IR) and vascular hybrid interventional procedural settings.
Requirements
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- On-call: Nights, weekends, and holidays
- Contract Start: 10/10/2026
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Required Certification: One of the following:
- ARRT-R – ARRT Radiography
- CVRN Level 3 – Cardiovascular (Cath Lab/Interventional)
- RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- BLS Certification: BLS, BLS-I, or American Red Cross BLS
