Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide perioperative care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. The RN will work closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and deliver quality care during complex surgical procedures, including orthopedic, spine, neurological, trauma, and general surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Circulate in the operating room and assist surgical teams during procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment.
• Monitor patient condition and maintain patient safety throughout surgery.
• Assist with orthopedic, spine, neurological, trauma, vascular, and general surgeries.
• Support procedures such as craniotomies, spinal fusions, and trauma surgeries.
• Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection control protocols.
• Administer medications and blood products as ordered.
• Document patient care accurately and follow facility policies.
• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotations as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Level I Trauma Center experience required; recent Level II trauma experience at a similar-sized or larger facility may be considered.
• Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Trauma, and Neurology required.
• Craniotomy experience required.
• Strong experience in a high-volume, fast-paced OR environment.
• Scrub experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
