Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I trauma facility. The RN will provide emergency care to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care, including triage and patient assessment.
• Care for patients with traumatic injuries and other emergency conditions.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies.
• Start and maintain IVs, perform phlebotomy, and administer blood products.
• Administer IV vasopressors and care for ventilated patients.
• Follow isolation precautions and maintain appropriate PPE practices.
• Collaborate with respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and other departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience; 18 months may be accepted from a comparable facility.
• Level I and Level II trauma experience required.
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood administration, IV vasopressors, and ventilated patients.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI/MAB/Team certification.
• Preferred: NIHSS and TNCC.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
