Description

HIGHLIGHTS:

Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS
12Hr shifts - 7a-730p/7p-730a
RN travelers must work every other weekend. Weekends are:
Days: Saturday/Sunday
Nights: Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
RN travelers must work every other holiday. Holidays are:
Days: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day
Nights: Memorial Day Eve, July 3rd, Labor Day Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve
Float to 4West (MedSurg) and occasionally ICU for general overflow patients

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:4-5 days, 1:5 nights
Common diagnosis / Types of patients CHF, diabetic, end of life, heart failure, medical patients & some require telemetry
Yes, depends on staffing & census. Try to keep it 1:10
Nurses need to monitor/watch the tele monitors; but there is a tele monitor 24/7. Space Lab brand monitors.
