Travel RN – PCU / Medical Oncology | Columbus, OH
Facility: Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Unit: Medical Oncology PCU (18 East & West)
Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: 11/02/2026
Contract: 16 Weeks
Shift: Days or Nights | 3x12s
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
1: 2+ years of total acute care RN experience
2: At least 1 year of PCU experience
3: Recent/current acute care experience within the last 12 months (HARD STOP)
4: Epic experience required
5: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
6: High-acuity PCU experience required
Preferred Experience
- Oncology experience (not required)
- Teaching hospital experience
- Previous travel experience
Key Skills
- Telemetry & dysrhythmia interpretation
- Cardiac drips
- Central line/PICC management
- Blood administration
- CPAP/BiPAP & HFNC
- Tracheostomy care
- IV starts and heparin protocols
Unit Highlights
- 36-bed Medical Oncology PCU/Telemetry unit
- PCU ratio: 1:3
- Float to PCU or Oncology units as needed
- Oncology experience welcomed but not required
Ideal Candidate: Strong PCU RN with recent acute care experience, Epic proficiency, telemetry skills, and the ability to care for high-acuity patients in a large academic medical center.
