Travel RN – Oncology Chemo Certified | Acute Leukemia Unit | Columbus, OH

Facility: Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Unit: 15 East – Acute Leukemia & Hematology
Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: 11/02/2026
Contract: 16 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

1: 2+ years of acute care RN experience
2: At least 1 year of inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience
3: Experience with Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasia patients (Hard Stop)
4: Current acute care oncology experience within the last 12 months (Hard Stop)
5: ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
6: Epic experience required
7: Prior travel experience required (inpatient setting)

ACLS
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification

Chemotherapy administration and monitoring
Blood and blood product administration
Central line, PICC, and port management
Oncology emergencies
Sepsis management
Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS)
IV antibiotics and electrolyte replacement
Dysrhythmia interpretation

Unit Highlights

Acute Leukemia & Hematology Unit
Adult/Geriatric population
High volume of blood products, IV antibiotics, and chemotherapy
Float to other Oncology units as needed
Heavy focus on infection prevention and patient safety

Ideal Candidate

Experienced Oncology RN with recent inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience, active Chemo Certification, and strong Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasia expertise. Candidates without leukemia experience will not be considered.
