Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients.</li><li>Assess, triage, monitor, and prioritize patients based on acuity.</li><li>Care for trauma and emergent medical conditions in a Level III Trauma Center.</li><li>Perform emergency interventions and administer medications/treatments.</li><li>Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition requiring immediate intervention.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary emergency care team.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.</li><li>Follow emergency, trauma, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.</li></ul>Required Experience &amp; Certifications<ul><li>3 years of current/recent ED experience OR at least 3 completed ED assignments</li><li>Epic ED experience is mandatory</li><li>BLS required</li><li>ACLS required</li><li>PALS required</li><li>TNCC and ENPC are strongly preferred, but not required.</li></ul>
