Description

Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist assignment, 89-week contract, day shift 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, performs in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides, administers radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals according to physician orders under Radiologist supervision, performs required quality control and quality assurance procedures in compliance with hospital and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements, completes accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System and PACS, PET/CT experience required.

Required: Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, Board Certified CNMT or ARRT(N), registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist through ARRT or CNMT certified through NMTCBAA, experience performing PET/CT scans, ability to perform radiopharmaceutical administration and nuclear medicine procedures, quality control and quality assurance experience, accurate HIS and PACS documentation. Preferred: BS degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited college or university.
