Description
RN Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Cell Therapy unit.
- Unit: 718A Bone Marrow Transplant
- Schedule: Varies, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (night shift)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent BMT/specialty experience
- Required: AHA BLS
- Preferred: AHA ACLS, chemotherapy, NIHSS, and Cerner experience
- Patient population/care:
- Inpatient isolation/Intermediate Care
- Cell therapy
- Chemotherapy and immunotherapy
- Blood product transfusions
- Bone marrow/stem-cell transplants performed on the unit
- Low nurse-to-patient ratios
- Holiday requirement: Must work:
- 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
- 1 minor holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
- Local candidate restriction: No local candidates within 50 miles
