We have an exciting onsite Critical Care/ED Pharmacist opportunity in Texas.
Requirements:
- BCCCP or BCEMP board certification required.
- PGY2 Critical Care/ED residency OR 5+ years of clinical experience in ICU/ED.
- 1 year of ASHP-accredited residency OR 4+ years of acute hospital experience.
- Active Texas Pharmacy license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
Shift Options:
- Evening: 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
- Swing: 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
- Day: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (potentially available for candidates with rounding experience).
Schedule: 7 days/week availability preferred; 24/7 staffing.
Responsibilities: Participate in Code Blues, traumatic arrests, RSI, Code Stroke, and Code Sepsis; manage STAT orders in ED/ICU; monitor Epic verification queues; provide medication recommendations, antibiotic stewardship, pharmacokinetic monitoring, drug utilization reviews, and clinical support to hospital staff.
Location: Onsite in ED/ICU.
