Travel Cardiac Procedures RN — Iowa

Seeking an RN for a small, noninvasive cardiology unit with two procedure rooms and three pre/post bays. Patient ratio is 1:3. Cases include TEEs, cardioversions, stress testing, procedural care, and pre/post recovery.

Requirements

• Iowa RN license and active AHA or American Red Cross BLS
• At least 24 months of current cardiac/cardiology, cath, or vascular experience, including pre/post care
• TEE, cardioversion, diagnostic procedure, and Epic experience
• First-time travelers considered with at least 3 years of experience
• Stress testing experience preferred

Assignment details: No scheduled weekends or on-call listed.
Epic is the EMR. 
Orientation dates listed are October 26, November 2, and November 9. Viable candidates are being interviewed quickly; expect a screening call or text from a 405 area code.

Submission notes: No locals. The driver’s license must show an address at least 50 miles from the facility. Submit the license, relevant work history, and a cardiac/pre-post or cath-specific skills checklist. A recent leadership reference is preferred. UPH’s separation rule excludes former FTE or float-pool PRN employees who worked there within the past 12 months; prior UPH travelers are exempt.
