Description

MLT / MT / CLS – Travel Contract

Facility: Aspirus Howard Young
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Radius Rule: Contractors must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
Radius Rule Effective Date: 9/16

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM–10:30 PM
One day per week: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM to meet the 0.9 FTE requirement
Weekends: No weekends
On-Call/Low Census: Candidate may be low-censused and placed on call as needed
Call-Back: 2-hour minimum

Floating Requirements

Must be willing to float to:

Aspirus Rhinelander
Aspirus Tomahawk
Aspirus Eagle River

Floating may be prescheduled based on staffing needs.

Required Qualifications

Certification: MLT, MT, or CLS
ASCP: Preferred, but not required
Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree
Experience: Minimum 1 year of core laboratory experience
Must be able to work in Blood Bank
Must be able to perform phlebotomy
Epic experience required

Clinical Responsibilities

Generalist position requiring competency across all areas of the laboratory, including:

Blood Bank
Phlebotomy
Core laboratory/general laboratory testing
