Ambulatory Float Registered Nurse

Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) | Kodiak, Alaska

KANA is seeking a flexible and patient-focused Ambulatory Float Registered Nurse to provide nursing support across multiple clinical areas based on patient and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing coverage in ambulatory care, telephone triage, case management, employee health, immunizations, and specialty clinics
• Assess patient needs and provide high-quality, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Support continuity of care and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and clinical assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of nursing experience
• BSN preferred
• Experience in ambulatory care, triage, case management, employee health, or public health
• EHR experience
• Tribal, rural, or community healthcare experience
