Unit Specifics:
· Number of Beds : 12 OR Suites
· Patient Ratios : 1 to 1
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Circulators, Surgical Techs, Orderlies etc.
· Type of equipment : All kinds used in an OR- entirely too much to list
· Documentation system: Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: On Call required- weekdays and weekends
· Floating policy: does not
· Patient Experience requirements: Must be patient focused and friendly
Hospital Specifics-
· Certifications: None- OR Experience required
Must have: OR Circulating experience in most all services except transplants, hearts and eyes
Advanced skills needed: None
Procedures performed on unit: Ortho, GYN, General, Vascular, Neuro, ENT, Robots- Adults and peds
Certifications Required: BLS
