Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year pharmacist experience
• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist Registration/License required
• No specific travel experience requirement listed.
• Local candidates accepted at a rate $10 below the posted travel rate.

Main Responsibilities

The pharmacist will:

• Review patient records for appropriate medication therapy
• Evaluate patient conditions and medication needs
• Develop medication plans while minimizing adverse effects
• Consult with physicians/prescribers, nurses, and patients
• Provide medication and dosing guidance
• Assess pharmaceutical treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate medication documentation
• Review medication orders for:
  • Appropriateness
  • Availability
  • Side effects
  • Drug incompatibilities
  • Formulary considerations
  • Current care pathways
• Participate in educating students and residents when needed
