Description
Pharmacist – Ogden Regional Medical Center Breakdown
Position
- Role: Pharmacist
- Facility: Ogden Regional Medical Center
- Department: Pharmacy
- Location: Ogden, Utah
Contract: 13 weeks listed
Schedule
- 7 days ON / 7 days OFF
- Wednesday–Tuesday
- 7 consecutive days
- Shift: 12:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Pharmacy operates 24 hours
Staffing
During the day:
- 3 AM pharmacists
- 1 PM pharmacist
- 1 night pharmacist
The traveler will work alone with a pharmacy technician for approximately 5.5 hours of the 10-hour shift.
Required Experience / Skills
Must have:
- Technician management experience
- Pyxis experience
- CIISafe experience
- VigiLanz experience
Technician-management experience is particularly important because the pharmacist will be working independently with a technician for part of the shift.

Certifications
- BLS/ALS preferred but NOT required
Patient / Clinical Environment
The pharmacy supports a wide variety of areas, including:
- NICU
- ICU
- OR
- 3 Emergency Departments
- Inpatient rehabilitation
- Inpatient acute detox
- Behavioral health
- Level II Trauma Center
Clinical Activities
Pharmacists may participate in:
- Warfarin consults
- Vancomycin consults
- TPN
- Insulin management
- Drug information
- Medication intervention management through VigiLanz
Floating
