Labor & Delivery RN - Job Summary
Specialty: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Facility: Hackensack University Medical Center
Shift & Schedule:
- Night Shift
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No holiday requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No float requirement
Required Qualifications:
- ASN degree
- Active NJ RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NRP
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Certification
- Advanced AWHONN or EFM Certification
Required Experience:
- Greater than 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience with high-acuity Labor & Delivery patients
Preferred Experience:
- Greater than 4 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- BSN preferred
Required Skills:
- Phlebotomy
- IV insertion
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Vaginal examinations
- Circulating in the OR for C-sections
- Instrumental delivery assistance
Must-Have Requirements:
- 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NRP
- EFM Certification
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion skills
- Vaginal exam experience
- C-section circulating experience
- Instrumental delivery assistance experience
- NJ RN License or Compact RN License
