Description
MRI Tech
Location: Midland, TX 79701
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM | Call every other week, Friday after shift through Monday 7:00 AM
Requirements:
- 2 years of MRI experience
- Travel experience required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- BLS
- Strong MRI experience required
- Siemens experience strongly preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Must have experience with adult and pediatric patients
- Pending license accepted; active license required before start
- Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
Description:
- Perform MRI procedures across multiple body areas, including brain, spine, abdomen/pelvis, chest, breast, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Perform MRA/MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, MIP, MRP, and other advanced MRI techniques.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs.
- Provide MRI services in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/trauma, and pediatric settings.
- Operate Siemens, GE, and Philips MRI equipment; PACS experience preferred.
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements.
- Support a department with 5 MRI rooms and approximately 50 daily patients.
- Participate in every-other-week call coverage from Friday after shift through Monday at 7:00 AM.
