Description

Clinical Dietitian – Breakdown

Position

Role: Clinical Dietitian
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Shift: Day shift
Weekends: Rotating weekends
Contract: 13 weeks listed

Main Responsibilities

The Clinical Dietitian will:

Plan and implement Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)
Provide nutrition care for inpatient and outpatient patients
Conduct:
- Nutrition screening
- Nutrition assessments
- Nutrition reassessments
Follow regulatory requirements.
Maintain professional knowledge and development.

Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in:
- Nutrition
- Dietetics
- Related healthcare field

Preferred:

Master's degree

Experience

Prior clinical dietetics experience is preferred

License / Certification

Required:

Registered Dietitian (RD) — registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
