Description

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech) – Evening Shift

Schedule: Evening Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday – Thursday | 12:30 – 23:00 | 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
- On-Call Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Standard on-call coverage required [HARDSTOP].
- Holiday Protocol [HARDSTOP]:
  - Christmas Holiday: Must cover Christmas Eve call from 12/24 at 07:00 through 12/25 at 07:00 [HARDSTOP].
  - New Year's Eve: Must work normal scheduled shift on 12/31 (12:30 – 23:00) [HARDSTOP].
- Overtime Rules: Daily OT after 24 hours / Weekly OT after 40 hours based on differential.
Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment (10/25/2026 – 01/23/2027)

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Ultrasound / Diagnostic Sonography experience required [HARDSTOP]. Must have documented experience in both Inpatient and Outpatient imaging settings [HARDSTOP].
- First-Time Travelers: First-time travel candidates accepted (prior travel experience preferred).
Radius Restriction [HARDSTOP]: Travel candidates only. Candidates residing within a 70-mile radius of the facility are strictly ineligible [HARDSTOP].
Primary Professional Credentials [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) credential MUST BE ON FILE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) certification MUST BE ON FILE AT TIME OF SUBMISSION [HARDSTOP].
EMR & Equipment Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR and GE Ultrasound Systems strictly required [HARDSTOP].
Required Clinical Competencies [HARDSTOP]:
- Pediatric Scanning: Documented Pediatric Ultrasound (PEDS) experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Technical Scope: General Abdomen, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA), Vascular, Breast Ultrasounds, General/Obstetric OB, Biophysical Profiles (BPP), and procedural assistance for Thoracentesis and Paracentesis [HARDSTOP].
Submission Details: Candidate profile must be reviewed via HWL clinical prescreen prior to the final Manager interview and offer.
