Description

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry RN for a 36-hour-per-week assignment. The RN will primarily work on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and may occasionally float to other Med-Surg areas based on department needs.

Schedule:

36 hours/week
Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Every other weekend
No call requirement

Float Units May Include:

Comprehensive Medical Unit
Stroke
Oncology
Cardiac
Observation
ED/Med-Surg Boarders
Other Med-Surg units as needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
Strong cardiac telemetry interpretation skills
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry
Current Epic EMR proficiency
Active BLS certification

Important Competency Requirements:

Telemetry proficiency will be tested on the first day. Candidates must successfully demonstrate the ability to read and interpret telemetry.

Current Epic proficiency is mandatory.

Med-Surg/Telemetry RN — 36 hrs/week, 7a–7:30p days, every other weekend, no call; 3+ years recent Tele/Stepdown, strong telemetry interpretation and current Epic proficiency required, with Day 1 competency testing.
