We are seeking an experienced and flexible MedSurg/PCU Registered Nurse to join a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. The RN should be comfortable working across Med-Surg, PCU and Telemetry areas and flexing to other departments as needed based on patient and staffing needs.

License Requirement:

• Active Washington RN license required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med-Surg/PCU patients
• Assess patient and family education needs and provide appropriate education
• Maintain patient safety and follow restraint and safety policies
• Safely operate PCU, Telemetry and Med-Surg equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and follow appropriate procedures when repairs are needed
• Follow infection-control, isolation and standard-precaution procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation
• Complete physician orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and report critical lab values according to hospital policy
• Provide complete and accurate shift reports
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other departments
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, patient rooms and general supplies
• Flex between departments and perform other duties as assigned
